Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Training for California Public AgenciesWith funding from Caltrans and FHWA, Tech Transfer is delivering free ITS training courses for all California public agencies. The purpose of this training program is to enable agencies to successfully implement, operate and maintain ITS regional architectures and ITS projects. These on-location courses respond to the critical needs of California's public agencies, and together with existing national level courses described on this website, should meet the ITS training needs of most agencies.
What courses are available? What courses should I take?Adap from the US DOT's Professional Capacity Building (PCB) Program Website, here is how Tech Transfer's courses (lis in bold) offered throughout California fit into the larger national ITS training agenda. Non-Tech Transfer course links in this list will take you to the course descriptions on the PCB website, where you can also find an interactive Curriculum Guide designed to assess your ITS training objectives and needs and recommend a series of courses to take.
