Andrew Cummins is the Director of Strategy and Business Development at Archer, which is developing an all-electric VTOL aircraft to provide fast, sustainable and safe aerial transportation to people in cities around the world. In his role, Andrew leads the company's Go-to-Market strategy, develops partnerships to build the Urban Air Mobility (UAM) ecosystem and collaborates with cities to seamlessly integrate UAM operations into communities around the world.
Prior to joining Archer, Andrew held numerous leadership roles in both corporate and start-up environments. Most recently, he was the Director of Americas at Skyports, where he partnered with cities and aircraft manufacturers to bring UAM landing infrastructure to market. Prior to Skyports, Andrew worked at Rolls-Royce where he served as Chief of Staff to the CEO while leading global corporate initiatives and also led Growth Strategy and Business Development teams. Andrew started his career at Boeing in Strategy and Finance.
Andrew attended the University of Missouri where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a double major in Business Administration and International Studies. He also received two master degrees: an MBA from Indiana University and a Master of International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State. In his free time he likes to explore the fantastic wine in Napa and Sonoma. He looks forward to taking an Archer aircraft to Napa in the future to skip the traffic!
